I have worked for the City of Farmers Branch for 19 years and have used Crews Service Company exclusively for our stump grinding needs for over 10 of those years. Mr. Ted Crews, owner of Crews Services, has been a vendor with the City of Dallas for many years and has done an outstanding job grinding up tree stumps in our park system of around 364 park sites.
We first became aware of his services at the Texas Turfgrass Conference in San Antonio, TX around 2006-2007. Standing there watching the video he shows of himself grinding up large tree stumps is very impressive. After returning from the conference, I found out our Golf division had been using his service for several years.
He provides a great service, has the equipment to get the job done fast and efficiently, and averages over 100 stumps per day. Mr. Crews has worked with each of the districts of the City of Dallas. He reports to them on the morning scheduled, we provide a location map, and he gets started. We only go out to show him the hard to find stumps, which is very few.
Mr. Crews is reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. Since we started using his service 7 years ago, he has ground approximately 10,000 stumps for the City of Dallas.
